We are providing you with a list of female owned businesses that we know will make your life easier and we have already done the vetting for you.

She chose to join Mandeville Private Client, as their unique investment and client centric philosophy closely aligns with her principles. Mandeville's mission is to provide clients access to the tools they need to build wealth and facilitate access to private and alternative investment options. Her own brand Silverstein Wealth has adopted the mantra - Integrity, Professionalism & Diligence which highlights her commitment to excellence and fiduciary duty. Her practice focuses on providing a financial plan which includes cash flow management, insurance solutions, tax minimization strategy, investment planning, retirement income, and estate planning tailored to your goals and objectives.

Akilah is deeply committed to paying it forward by being involved in her community, she is on the board of the East York Rotary club which supports various local and international charitable organizations year-round. She presently serves on the board of the Birthright Israel Foundation Canada Young Leadership Counsel and she is also a mentor to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) high school and university students. She is co-founder of the Non-Profit organization, No Silence On Race, which focuses on advocating for Jewish organizations to commit to meaningful action to create a more inclusive, anti-racist and equitable spaces which not only accepts Jews of Colour but celebrates their existence.

Additionally, she regularly volunteers her time for financial literacy initiatives and has hosted numerous networking and professional development events catered to BIPOC entrepreneurs to create a space focused on learning, sharing, and connecting. On a more personal note, she loves to garden, explore the outdoors, travel, watch satirical comedy, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Angela Podolsky founder and CEO of Kinesics Consulting. She is a behaviour analyst and non-verbal communication expert.

Angela works with world-renowned businesses, helping them and their teams improve their sales, negotiation, and presentation skills. She has been asked to teach at both McGill University and the John Molson School of Business and has been featured on CJAD 800 radio, UK HR magazine, Financial Post and The Suburban.

Angela has a passion for empowering leaders and organizations to acquire the tools needed to build the skills for success. In addition, she is the only Paul Ekman Associate operating in Canada. Dr. Ekman is an American psychologist and pioneer in the study of emotions and their relation to facial expressions and deception.

To give back to the community, Angela mentors and judges entrepreneurs at events such as Startup Weekends, as well as at Business Incubators.

In recognition of Angela's business acumen and community influence, she was awarded the 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Jewish Chamber of Commerce.
